Up until just a few years ago, when I taped something from the television, I did it with a VCR. There were some homes that had recording DVD players, but we did not. It was not until I got digital cable service did I find that ease that comes with DVR recorders. This type of recording is not as safe as the other types, but it can be something that makes your life easier.
